Body found in Ouachita River identified from DNA

Partial remains of a female body found in the Ouachita River in Catahoula Parish by a local boater has been identified as 19-yearold Sheryl Turner of New Iberia, Louisiana.

Duty Ferry on LA 559 in Enterprise (Catahoula Parish) closed at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, and will remain closed through Sunday, February 25, 2024. Duty Ferry will resume the previous temporary operating hours of 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024.

James Bond music concert
