From the heart of Pastor Kim Cook Crossway Family Worship This afternoon it is raining and so peaceful. It’s quiet and I am thinking back over our church service this morning. We had a wonderful service. The Spirit of God never ceases to amaze me. The presence of God is so powerful.

Block High School’s Junior High 4-H Club collects for hygiene

BHS Jr. High 4-H club collected 74 items for the Parish Wide Hygiene Drive benefiting the Wellspring Homeless Shelter in Monroe, LA. Over the course of a month, students donated various hygiene items including: toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, underclothes and socks.

The first annual Jonesville Christmas Parade will be held December18th, according to Pat Giamanco. All floats and entries will gather at Airport Road and will proceed down U.S. 84 to Block High School. Businesses are urged to participate in the parade. a $5 entry fee will be charged each entry.
