Suspect arrested after striking Catahoula Parish Sheriff’s Deputy

Catahoula Parish, LA – Monday afternoon, shortly after 4:00 PM, a Catahoula Parish Sheriff’s Deputy was injured while attempting to serve an out-of-parish warrant on Benny Ray Reynolds, 68, of Hwy 3102 in Jonesville. The warrant stemmed from a violation of a protective order.

7th Judicial Court Highlights

November 19, 2024, 7th Judicial criminal court Division B was held with the Honorable Judge John Reeves presiding. Reagan Huff appeared for a motion to increase bond on charges of theft of a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and meth. Counsel Paul Lemke objected to the bond increase.

Coat drive-Catahoula Coaction Program

On Saturday, December 7th, the Catahoula Coaction Program held a community meeting. As part of the meeting's activities, the program organized a coat drive to help those in need during the cold winter months.
