7th Judicial District Court docket highlights

A full court docket kept the Seventh District Judicial court busy on Tuesday, October 11, 2024. Bench warrants were issued for Gavin Paul (warrant to be held until 12/10/24), Charlie Coats, Jr, Roger Stevenson, Daviyon Young, and Robert Gannon for failure to appear.

The third Jonesville Main Street (JMS) bingo night brought people of all ages to play and win.The next event is planned for Friday, November 22nd beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 pm. Downtown Jonesville (Mound and First Street).JMS will host Friday After Five and Christmas Market, Friday.

On Friday, November 8th, Corbin James Barker was hunting with his dad on Hill Top Hunting Club in Harrisonburg and killed his first deer. A six point! Corbin is four years old and loves to go hunting with his dad, Justin. He also thinks there is no time for school when hunting is going on.

Sicily Island Junior Tigers girls and boys lose to Gilbert Junior High

Thursday night, November 14, 2024, the Sicily Island Lady Tigers lost to the Gilbert Junior High Girls 16-12 in Sicily Island. In a “see-saw” game, that saw both teams winning at different times, the Gilbert girls pulled away at the end to defeat the Sicily Island Jr. Lady Tigers.
