A meeting with Senator Glen Womack gave Callie Ann McEntrye hope for families that live with Alzheimer’s. Womack was a co-sponsor of Senate Bill 46 in support of Louisiana’s revision of a five-year plan to address dementia.

Many areas of Louisiana received several consecutive days of rain between August 28 to September 12 (Table 1). The rainy period was capped off with Hurricane Francine on September 11. The continuous precipitation caused weather damage in soybean plants that were mature or near maturity.

During Block High School’s football game last Friday night, a player sustained an injury and required transportation to the hospital. However, due to vehicles parked in the streets surrounding the stadium, Jonesville Police Department (JPD) was delayed in leaving with the injured player.
